A Night for Appreciating Friends Old and New

Heavy rain may have left parts of the city sodden, but it did nothing to dampen the high spirits of the CUHK Business School alumni family! Over 100 alumni and students braved an amber rainstorm on 29 May to gather at Djapa restaurant, on Lee Tung Avenue in Wanchai, for a relaxed evening ahead of term break.
The casual Japanese-Brazilian eatery provided an ideal setting for attendees to meet with old classmates and make new friends. Prof. Angela Ng, Associate Dean of Global Engagement and External Relations, gave a warm welcome to everyone – and especially the graduands, for whom this event would be the first step in joining the alumni network. She also dedicated a big thank-you to all those alumni who showed their support to the Business School over the previous year.
Guests on the night enjoyed the delicious food and drink at the venue, and the unrivalled chance to mingle. Looking ahead, the Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office will continue taking the initiative, both online and offline, to connect with alumni around the world, in our efforts to grow and strengthen the alumni network.
