London Alumni Gather in the Heart of the City

Apr 17, 2018

On the night of Friday, 13 April, Prof. Kalok Chan, Dean of CUHK Business School, and Prof. Angela Ng, Associate Dean of Global Engagement and External Relations, hosted an alumni dinner at a Chinese restaurant in London, Min Jiang, situated in leafy Kensington Gardens. Five graduates and a sixth guest attended and enjoyed a delicious meal of fine Chinese delicacies, including Peking Duck.

Although the alumni all live in London, they had not met before, and treasured the opportunity to connect with fellow graduates from different backgrounds and industries. During the dinner, Dean Prof. Chan shared the latest Business School developments and discussed a few key projects. He also stated that alumni are one of the Business School’s most valuable assets and encouraged the young guests to support their alma mater however they can. “We look forward to developing a closer relationship with our fellow alumni over the long-term. Every one of you represents a unique story and truly exemplifies the high quality of our talented graduates.”

At the end of the night, a happy group photo captured the spirit of the event and the deep bond shared by alumni and the Business School.
