Fusion Dinner Connects FMBA Alumni in Hong Kong

Feb 08, 2018

To celebrate the arrival of 2018, the MBA Program in Finance (FMBA) organised Hong Kong’s first casual dinner for alumni on 25 January. The event was attended by 30 graduates, the majority of whom live in Hong Kong or chose to work in the city after completing their degree. Ms. Florence Lai, the Alumni and Corporate Affairs Director, was delighted to join this special occasion and meet with FMBA alumni from various backgrounds and industries.

The gathering took place at Hexa in Ocean Terminal, and was hosted by Prof. Liu Ming, Director of the MBA Program in Finance. After cocktails on a balcony overlooking the beautiful skyline, the group enjoyed delicious fusion cuisine while connecting with old classmates and making new friends. The event was filled with laughter and concluded with cheerful group photos taken against the breath-taking backdrop of Victoria Harbour.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Liu Ming said, “I am happy to meet with our dedicated alumni this evening. Your presence means a lot to us, and we will keep organising more events to connect our FMBA graduates.” Ms. Florence Lai had a good time as well and added, “I look forward to your continued support of the Business School and I know we can make our alumni network bigger and stronger with your help.”
