EMBA Alumni and Students Experience an Interesting Champagne Tasting!


Many people enjoy champagne, but few know much about this sparkling wine and how to pair it with food. To help alumni develop their appreciation further, the EMBA Alumni Association organised a champagne tasting on 19 January at the Yau Yat Chuen Garden City Club. 

Over 40 graduates and current EMBA students joined the event. Mr. Johnny Cheung, a world-renowned Champagne Chevalier from the L’Ordre Des Coteaux de Champagne, spoke about different types of bubbly and how to enjoy them with food. The audience was impressed by his vast knowledge and expertise and responded with thunderous applause.

Participants also enjoyed a special dinner in an intimate setting, during which several guests tried opening a bottle of champagne using the technique taught to them by Johnny. It was a wonderful evening filled with delicious flavours and smiles!
