The vision of the Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office at the CUHK Business School is to build and strengthen our 36,000-strong global alumni network. Currently, we have 12 alumni associations around the world, who are valuable resources in helping the Business School engage alumni worldwide.
In mid-August, Ms. Florence Lai, Alumni and Corporate Affairs Director, and Prof. Jeff Yeung, Director of the EMBA (Chinese) Programme, paid a visit to Dr. Jung Tsung Wei, President of CUHK Business School Taiwan Alumni Association, in his hometown of Tainan. This was Ms. Lai’s first visit to Tainan.
President Wei was very hospitable and treated Ms. Lai, Prof. Yeung, and a few academic and business friends to a delicious dinner at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, the tallest building in Tainan. In an elegant dining room on the top floor, the dinner party were amazed by the panoramic views of the city, all lit up at night, while enjoying a feast of traditional Tainan cuisines. Prof. Yeung and Ms. Lai were delighted with the opportunity to brief Dr. Wei on the School’s latest developments, and thanked him for the alumni association’s contributions to the School over the past year.
It was a delightful gathering enjoyed by all. The Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office will continue its best efforts to connect various alumni associations and build a stronger and closer alumni community around the world.
