CUHK Business School Alumni – Anywhere, Everywhere: When One Plus One is Greater Than Two

CUHK Business School, established in 1963, has not only nurtured generations of talents but also fostered numerous beautiful relationships. Apart from Ricky (IFAA 2009) and Jennifer (IBBA 2009), whom we introduced earlier as a couple who transformed from lovers to life partners, many alumni have found like-minded work partners within the school.

Aves Chan (EMBA 2017), the CFO of a listed company, Alan Lai (EMBA 2017), the CEO of a veterinary group, and Jeffrey Pong (EMBA 2017), an ophthalmologist, come from entirely different backgrounds and possess diverse expertise. Through their EMBA studies, they had a chance encounter that sparked new ideas. They founded a medical centre together after graduation, and business continues to grow after the pandemic. They believe in team effort in business management, and pinpoint that CUHK Business School provides an excellent environment for idea incubation. The close relationship among alumni and the spirit of mutual support have also empowered them to move forward.

Former classmates turned business partners, the trio expresses that their experiences at CUHK Business School have surpassed their expectations.
