Glocalisation Series: China’s Diplomacy in the New Era and its New Role in the World

In 2023, China has already achieved several breakthrough in diplomacy, including facilitating the Saudi Arabia and Iran to restore diplomatic ties, and encouraging more countries to adopt Renminbi for settlement. What would be the role of China in the world? What would be the challenges faced by China in the meantime?
The BBA Alumni Association of CUHK is honoured to invite Professor Jonathan Kin Hung CHEUNG to be our guest speaker to talk about China’s Diplomacy and the challenges ahead.
Professor Cheung had worked in the banking industry for almost 30 years. His teaching and academic advisory experiences include Part-time Professor of MSc (Global Business) and EMBA programs at CUHK; Adjunct Professor, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong; and International Advisor (China), Schulich School of Business, York University in Canada.
Keen on sharing his thoughts and practices via books and columns, Professor Cheung is a columnist with the Hong Kong Economic Journal and has published over 50 books in the subjects of finance, management, gourmet food and wine.
Professor Cheung will speak on the China’s diplomacy and role in the new era. He will also share the challenges associated with her new role in the world.
