The BBA Alumni Association of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUBBA AA) proudly presents the “Into the Future Series: Entrepreneurship” with Dr. Frank Ng as the Guest Speaker.

Dr Frank Ng

Dr Frank Ng, who is also an alumnus of CUHK IBBA Programme, currently serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Management. He has been actively organising and implementing various entrepreneurship education, research, practices and activities within CUHK and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Dr Frank Ng received his PhD in Management and BBA in Management from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests are strategic management, international business, corporate governance and entrepreneurship, and he is particularly interested in how institutional environments shape firm strategy, innovation and entrepreneurial activity.

He is the recipient of Faculty Teaching Excellence Award 2019/2020, CUHK Business School; and multiple Teaching Excellence Award (2016, 2017, 2018), School of Business, Hang Seng Management College. As an entrepreneurial educator, he has developed various synchronous and asynchronous learning materials, and actively adopted flipped classroom approach and experiential learning in his teaching. He also received teaching grant for investigating new teaching methods and practices.

This seminar introduces several compelling stories featuring current CUHK professors and their students, showcasing how CUHK members leverage innovative thinking to address societal challenges and drive technology-enabled social transformation. Additionally, the seminar introduces stories of second-generation entrepreneurs, providing insights into how family businesses achieve transformation and innovation through entrepreneurial spirit. Participants will not only take a glimpse of inspiring entrepreneurial stories but also have a better understanding of entrepreneurial landscapes amidst unprecedented global changes.
