Alumnus Mr. Jimmy Ma shares his insights on “Industry 4.0”

The Ontario Alumni Network rang in the new year with a lunchtime talk on the theme of “Industry 4.0”. Held on 26 January at a Chinese restaurant in Toronto, the event attracted over 50 alumni and friends, including 15 exchange students from various universities in Ontario, making it the largest lunchtime talk to date!

Following on from his previous “Big Data” talk, our alumnus Mr. Jimmy Ma (Sociology 1981 and MBA 1990) – a professional in the field of IT and systems management – shared his views on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the impacts that breakthroughs in technology have had on our lives. The audience responded with enthusiasm and a great many questions.

The Ontario Alumni Network was formed in 2014 by a group of Ontario-based alumni of the CUHK Business School and Department of Economics, with the aim of strengthening alumni network and assisting in the advancement of alumni and their local community in Canada.

Joining the talk were 15 exchange students
