AA News | CUHK Business School Beijing Alumni Association hosts year-end screening of The Last Dance

CUHK Business School Beijing Alumni Association, Movie Night , 中大商學院北京校友會

On 14 December 2024, the CUHK Business School Beijing Alumni Association hosted an exclusive screening of the Cantonese blockbuster The Last Dance at the China World Trade Centre in Beijing, drawing over 60 alumni to enjoy the film and connect with one another.

The film, which explores profound themes of life, death, and family relationships, has been highly acclaimed in Hong Kong, where it was crowned the top-grossing film of 2024. Adding a special connection for attendees, one of the film’s lead actors, Mr Michael Hui Kwun-man (Sociology 1969), is a proud CUHK alumnus. The audience was deeply moved by the film’s powerful narrative, with the screening concluding to enthusiastic applause.

The event was generously sponsored by the council members of the CUHK Business School Beijing Alumni Association, including President Michael Ma (BBA 1988), Vice-President Kong Chiming (BBA 1987), and Zhong Cheng (FMBA 2020). By hosting this gathering, the Association sought to unite CUHK Business School alumni in Beijing, fostering camaraderie and strengthening professional and personal bonds within the community.
