AI at work : AI workshop empowers alumni to unlock skills

The rise of AI has progressively transformed the professional landscape. To ensure that CUHK Business School alumni remain abreast of current trends and proficient in emerging skills, the Alumni Office organised the “Using Microsoft AI Tools at Work” alumni workshop in mid-April. Mr Fred Sheu, National Technology Officer of Microsoft Hong Kong, introduced the functionalities of Microsoft AI and conducted live demonstrations on leveraging Copilot to optimise diverse daily workflows and amplify productivity.

The workshop drew a robust attendance of nearly 80 alumni, representing diverse graduating cohorts, from the seasoned veterans of the 70s to fresh graduates. During the demonstrations, attendees displayed an avid interest, diligently taking notes and posing insightful questions. Post-event, quite a number of alumni sought opportunities to engage with Fred, expressing a keen desire to delve deeper into the subject matter.
