CUHK Business School DBA (Chinese) Class of 2025 inauguration and founding of the first student association

CUHK Business School’s Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) (Chinese) programme welcomed its 2025 cohort with a formal opening ceremony and welcome dinner. The event was graced by Professor Zhou Lin, dean of CUHK Business School, together with associate deans and nearly 20 faculty members. Students from the 2022 to 2024 cohorts also joined to welcome the new intake and to witness the official establishment of the programme’s first student association.

In his remarks, Professor Zhou warmly welcomed the new students, reflected on CUHK’s founding history, and encouraged them to carry forward its spirit in their academic pursuits, aspiring to become leaders who bridge tradition and the future.

At the ceremony, the inaugural committee of the DBA Student Association was formally inaugurated, entrusted with the mission of serving the student community. President Ma Gang remarked that the association will not only deepen bonds among peers but also advance academic exchange and resource integration, shaping an elite community distinguished by its social responsibility.

Looking ahead, the student association aspires to serve as a vital bridge between students and the School, deepening fellowship and cultivating a community that combines academic rigour with social purpose, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth of CUHK Business School.
