CUHK Ranks No. 1 in Hong Kong in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2022
In the latest Times Higher Education Impact Rankings*, the overall score of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is the highest in Hong Kong. Our performances in the three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) below are also remarkable:
- Quality Education (SDG4) ranked 10
- Decent Work & Economic Growth (SDG8) ranked 36
- Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions (SDG16) ranked 81
Sustainable development is one of the key areas of the “CUHK Strategic plan 2021-2025”. CUHK has set for itself concrete sustainable development targets in alignment with the United Nation’s SDGs, which apply to all areas of the University’s endeavours.
*Times Higher Education Impact Rankings capture universities’ impact on society based on institutions’ success in delivering the United Nations’ 17 SDGs.
