Handy Guide to CUHK Alumni Parking Benefit

    Ready to drive back to CUHK and relive those campus vibes? Here’s a quick guide to the awesome parking perks for alumni! To facilitate alumni access to campus facilities, CUHK offers exclusive parking benefits. Alumni who are holders of CU Alumni Credit Card can enjoy up to 4 hours of free parking when using the University Libraries, the University Swimming Pool and other University Sports Facilities.

     

    University Sports Facilities

    Applicable facilities: University Swimming Pool, University Sports Centre (Badminton court, small basketball court and tennis courts) and Haddon Cave Sports Field (Mini-soccer pitch and running track)

    1. Tap your Octopus card at the gate’s card reader located in front of the tollbooth and drive through the “visitor” lane

    2. Present your booking form and Alumni Credit Card to the venue attendant and ask the attendant for a QR code parking coupon to enjoy 4 hours of free parking

    *Please note that only ONE parking coupon will be issued for each session / hour booked.

     

    University Library

    1. Tap your Octopus card at the Octopus card reader located in front of the tollbooth and drive through the “visitor” lane

    2. Access the library with a valid library card or borrowing card

    3. Present your Alumni Credit Card at the library terminals for verification after using the library facilities

    4. Wait for the terminal to display that the parking benefit has been verified

    5. Tap the same Octopus card at the exit gate to redeem the 4-hour free parking and pay for remaining parking fee (if any)
