MBA Elite Mentorship Programme celebrates another year of connection and growth

The MBA Office recently hosted the Elite Mentorship Appreciation Dinner as the culmination of the Elite Mentorship Programme (EMP) 2024-25. The evening celebrated the contributions of mentors and the growth of mentees, fostering meaningful connections within the CUHK MBA community.
Launched in 2003 as part of the “Leadership Experience through Active Participation” (LEAP) initiative, the programme, supported by the CUHK MBA Alumni Association, pairs MBA students with distinguished alumni mentors who offer guidance on leadership, career development, and personal growth. The event commenced with a Vote of Thanks from Armstrong Lee (BBA 1993, MBA 1995), who has played an instrumental role in the EMP for the two decades.
Reflecting on the programme’s lasting impact, he expressed gratitude to mentors for their commitment and commended mentees for their enthusiasm and progress. His remarks underscored the EMP’s role in bridging generations of business leaders through shared knowledge and mentorship.
This year’s dinner welcomed around 70 participants, including mentors, mentees, and representatives of the MBA Alumni Association. Two mentor-mentee pairs were invited to share their experiences. Their reflections offered thoughtful perspectives on how support and shared learning have shaped their professional and personal development.
Sincere thanks go to all mentors, mentees, and the MBA Alumni Association for making this year’s EMP another resounding success. We look forward to building on this experience and deepening ties across the CUHK Business School community in the years ahead.
