“TGIF” reunion for CUHK Business School alumni in Macao

In late August, the CUHK Business School Alumni Office visited Macao again to host a cordial and lively alumni dinner. Held on a Friday evening with a “TGIF” spirit, the event provided an opportunity for attendees to unwind after a busy work week and reconnect with old friends. More than just a reunion, it served as a valuable networking platform, enabling alumni from various graduating programmes, cohorts, and industries to forge new connections and engage in meaningful dialogues.

The gathering took place at a Portuguese restaurant in Macao, where the representative from the Alumni Office shared the latest updates from CUHK Business School. Thoughtful gifts were presented to each attendee, adding a pleasant surprise to the evening. Guests enjoyed delicious cuisine while reminiscing about their campus days and exchanging interesting stories from their professional and personal lives, creating a warm atmosphere filled with laughter.

At the dinner, the Alumni Office also introduced the Macao-based Global Alumni Ambassadors (GAAs) who were in attendance. Alumni were encouraged to stay in close contact with the GAAs to help foster more successful gatherings in the future, further strengthening the bonds within the local alumni community.

The evening concluded on a high note amid cheerful conversations, as alumni left with cherished memories and eagerly anticipated their next gathering.
