Alumni gathering series in emerging tier-one cities – Hangzhou leads the way

As part of its ongoing efforts to foster closer ties with alumni across mainland China, the CUHK Business School Alumni Office has launched a new initiative: “Alumni gatherings in emerging tier-one cities”. The inaugural event was held in Hangzhou on the evening of 11 July, where representatives from the Alumni Office met with Business School alumni based in the city.

The gathering provided a warm and lively setting for alumni to exchange career insights and personal stories. Beyond rekindling ties with their alma mater, attendees expanded their professional and social networks in Hangzhou. There was strong enthusiasm for continuing such meetups, with many expressing hopes for more alumni to join and contribute to building a vibrant local alumni community.
