CUHK Business School alumni gather in the UK to celebrate connections this summer

This July, the CUHK Business School Alumni Office visited the UK to host its first-ever alumni luncheon, drawing enthusiastic participation from dozens of alumni. Many alumni travelled from outside London, including cities such as Manchester and Nottingham, to reconnect with old friends and expand their networks by meeting fellow graduates from a range of industries and programmes from the School.
Held at a Chinese restaurant in London’s Chinatown, the lunch began with an update from the Alumni Office on the latest developments at CUHK Business School. The programme then featured a sharing session by Diana Au Yeung (IBBA 1999), a seasoned talent strategy consultant and fellow alumna, who offered insightful strategies for professional development and self-improvement. Her session helped alumni better understand their strengths and enhance their competitive edge.
In addition to the delicious meal, the afternoon included a light-hearted game prepared by the Alumni Office. Alumni were given Hong Kong-themed souvenirs, which sparked fond memories of home and contributed to the warm, cheerful atmosphere. The event also included an introduction to the UK-based Global Alumni Ambassadors (GAAs), encouraging participants to stay connected and collaborate on future alumni initiatives in the region.
