60th Anniversary Celebratory Ads Return to Shanghai and Hong Kong After Encircling the World

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and CUHK Business School, the Alumni Office of the Business School initiated a series of celebratory advertisements displayed at renowned landmarks worldwide, starting from April. These included prominent outdoor screens, such as the giant billboard in New York’s Times Square, showcasing congratulatory messages. The sight of CUHK emblem and CUHK Business School logo on global monumental structures sparked joy among alumni who pride themselves on 60 years of excellence in the University’s annals.

The celebratory spirit has also extended to the alumni communities in Shanghai and Hong Kong. In August, the CUHK Alumni Association in Shanghai and the CUHK Business School Shanghai Alumni Association organised an impressive light show, illuminating the famous buildings along The Bund in Pudong. This captivating light show added to the splendor of Shanghai’s waterfront and conveyed blessings to The Chinese University of Hong Kong as it commemorated its diamond jubilee.

The anniversary celebration continued as The MBA Alumni Association of the CUHK unveiled a Duratrans advertisement in the vicinity of Times Square in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong in mid-October. Pro-Vice-Chancellor/ Vice-President (Alumni Relations & Advancement) of CUHK, Prof. Anthony T.C. Chan, and Dean of Business School, Prof. Lin Zhou, joined other school representatives on the occasion as committee members of the MBA Alumni Association celebrated the achievements of their alma mater.

The series of celebratory events vividly showcased the deep bond between CUHK Business School alumni and their alma mater, demonstrating unwavering support even from different parts of the world. The close-knit alumni network is a source of pride. Amidst the multitude of well wishes, alumni collectively look forward to the next glorious 60 years for CUHK and CUHK Business School.
