    Q1. Could you briefly describe your current job scope or responsibilities?

    I’m E-commerce Merchandise Manager at H&M. I drive selling, optimise buying, and manage stock for all Ladieswear in Western Europe.

     

    Q2. 3 words to describe your life in your residing location (the country/ city), followed by a brief explanation.

    I live in Hamburg and I think it is international, active, modern and old. – Hamburg is the third largest port in Europe, also known as Germany’s Gateway to the World. The city is therefore an international hub for many companies, with modern infrastructures, combined with stunning buildings from the past.

     

    Q3. Which industry do you see strong business potential in your birth place and residing location, any reason?

    Germany is Europe’s leading economy, therefore there is strong business potential. I think technology, e-commerce, automotive and cross-border trade will be developing rapidly in particular. Regarding technology, the start-up environment is extremely bubbling, especially for services to make life easier, such as groceries delivered in 10 mins by bike. Berlin is the perfect place for this kind of business.

     

    Q4. What is the one thing you miss the most during your study in CUHK Business School, and that you look forward to doing it/ making it happen again?

    I miss networking and chatting with my many interesting classmates from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. I had a great time with them, both during and outside of classes. Exploring Hong Kong, discovering new interests, challenging myself with many topics I’ve never encountered before… All was so stimulating and fun.

    Among many, one of the fondest memories is a business competition I took part of with Philippe, Alfie, and Tobias: we flew to San Diego for a sports management competition. We had 24 hours to prepare a case and present to the jury. Hectic, no sleep, so much coffee and Coca Cola, but we ended up winning runner-up thanks to our multicultural and multidisciplinary approach, coming from our different cultural and professional backgrounds.

    I’m looking forward to a reunion with MBA friends back in Hong Kong, when the travel policies will be less strict!
