CUHK Business School alumni are spread across various industries, with many of whom are leaders and experts in their respective fields. The Alumni Office launched the Lunch & Learn with C-Suite Alumni event to provide students with more exclusive opportunities to learn from our outstanding alumni over a meal. At the inaugural event in March, we have invited Aaron Lee (IBBA 2000), Group Chief Executive of Jardine Restaurant Group , as our speaker. Around 20 students from the master’s programmes had the privilege of joining this event. As they indulged in the delicious food, Aaron shared his valuable business knowledge and recounted his own career journey.

Aaron, who manages the business of KFC, Pizza Hut, and PHD in Hong Kong, Macao, Myanmar, Taiwan, and Vietnam, began the session by providing an overview of the dynamic and customer-centric nature of the food and beverage industry business landscape. He also shed light on the challenges and opportunities that arise in the Asia Pacific region. Furthermore, he shared how his experience working in management consulting after completing his business school education enabled him to adapt to and excel in various business sectors. The students enthusiastically took advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and engage in fruitful discussions with Aaron, leaving both their minds and stomachs satisfied.
