AI alumni workshop makes a strong comeback to boost professional skills

To capitalise on the rise of artificial intelligence (AI), a growing number of professionals are turning to AI to enhance work efficiency. Following the overwhelming success of the “Using Microsoft AI Tools at Work” alumni workshop in April, the Alumni Office hosted an additional session in September, allowing more alumni to master these valuable skills. The workshop was led by Mr. Fred Sheu, National Technology Officer of Microsoft Hong Kong, who introduced the capabilities of Microsoft AI and provided live demonstrations on using Copilot to streamline various daily workflows and boost productivity.

More than 70 alumni signed up for the workshop. Attendees showed keen interest throughout the demonstrations, actively asked thoughtful questions and participated in the discussion. After the event, many alumni eagerly approached Fred to explore further AI applications and deepen their understanding of the technology.
