Q1. Could you briefly describe your current job scope or responsibilities?

I am currently running an education centre that offers 200 subjects and serves more than 150 active students spanning from K2 to K12. My primary role involves overseeing the centre’s operations, as well as supervising and training our tutors to ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction to the students. As a dedicated educator, I find great satisfaction in interacting with my students and guiding them to develop self-learning skills and achieve personal growth.

Q2. Please describe Seattle in three words.

Emerald, cosmopolitan, and hi-tech.

Seattle, known as the “Evergreen City”, is blessed with its lush green surroundings. The natural beauty offers a captivating sight for both residents and visitors, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities that I personally enjoy during my leisure time.

Also, Seattle is a cosmopolitan hub in the Pacific Northwest, buzzing with cultural diversity and a vibrant art scene. The city is adorned with numerous art galleries, theatres and museums, showcasing a wide range of artistic expressions.

Additionally, Seattle is renowned for its hi-tech industry. The city is a global hub for technology and innovation, housing some of the world’s most influential tech companies. This solidifies Seattle’s reputation as a leading force in the field of technology.

Q3. Which industry do you see strong business potential in Seattle and why?

I think the education industry has strong business potential here. Seattle is home to a highly educated population and creates a demand for continuous learning and upskilling. The prestigious universities here attract talents from around the world. This influx of students creates a demand for educational services, leading to opportunities for educational services and training providers. What matters most is that education has the power to transform lives and equip individuals with the necessary skills to navigate the challenges of an increasingly unpredictable world!

Q4. What is the one thing you miss the most during your study at CUHK Business School, and that you look forward to doing again?

I certainly long for the cherished moments I shared with my classmates and teachers at CUHK Business School. The breathtaking scenery on campus is also something memorable. Although I did not have the opportunity to visit the library during my time there, I look forward to exploring it when I travel to Hong Kong in the future.
