    Q1. Could you briefly describe your current job scope or responsibilities?

    My current job scope is fairly varied within the realm of consulting blockchain projects with their growth and marketing endeavors. I spend a good amount of my time researching the cryptoassets market as a day trader. I am very interested in NFTs (Non-fungible tokens) and am currently working to promote my photography portfolio on an NFT platform like Open Sea or Mintable.

     

    Q2. 3 words to describe your life in your residing location (the country/ city), followed by a brief explanation.

    I moved back to my hometown in Montclair, New Jersey (NYC Metropolitan Area) shortly after graduation.

    Peaceful

    – Suburban New Jersey is a valued departure from the daily pressures of Hong Kong life. It has been to my long-term professional, physical, and personal benefit to move my operations to someplace a bit more slow-paced and less competitive.

    Harmonious

    – Moving back home has helped put things into perspective. More importantly, I have applied the skills and best practices I learned in the MiM program to help support and grow my family’s businesses. Specifically, I have applied Business Model Canvas learned in Professor Shige’s course to diagnose and correct inefficiencies in my our business operations.

    Creative

    – My hometown is blessed with a prolific homegrown art scene. I see an opportunity to help support creative projects in an entrepreneurial way.

     

    Q3. Which industry do you see strong business potential in your birth place and residing location, any reason?

    One word: Blockchain. Blockchain is going to be big business globally and NYC is expected to get a big piece of that proverbial pie. The applications are innumerable: NFTs, decentralised finance, public ledgers, just to name a few. NYC needs to be at the cutting edge of this arena or risk obsoletion.

     

    Q4. What is the one thing you miss the most during your study in CUHK Business School, and that you look forward to doing it/ making it happen again?

    Dim sum! Jokes aside (as much as I do enjoy campus food), I think I miss the campus itself most of all. World class facilities, hiking and cultural events all in one location. To forge a giant campus on a mountain is a marvel in and of itself.

    The most unforgettable experience would have to be the Capstone in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Being able to propose practical, implementable changes to an established business is invaluable. KL is a dynamic hub of culture and commerce in Southeast Asia. It is great to get to travel while also exposing oneself to important business cities.
