    Q1. Could you briefly describe your current job scope?

    I am managing an environmental protection company as its CEO and I oversee the overall business operation.

     

    Q2. How would you describe Vietnam?

    I have been working in Vietnam for 22 years and it is a land full of opportunities, especially lately with the China-US Trade War creating greater export demand. Vietnam has a very distinctive culture and it may be hard to blend in if you are from a different country, but it is also a pleasant place to live in with low cost of living and a social structure similar to that of the Chinese.

     

    Q3. Which industry do you see strong business potential in Vietnam and why?

    I see strong potential in quite a number of fields. Primary industries like agricultural and fishery have always been the pillar industries in Vietnam, and they are still growing strong. Vietnam has signed quite a number of free trade agreements in recent years, and together with its advantageous geographical location as well as expanding export demand due to the geopolitical rivalry, industries like logistics, trading and industrial production all have great room for growth.

     

    Q4. What did you enjoy the most during your study in CUHK Business School?

    I have built lifelong relationships with my OneMBA classmates and these networks have become valuable resources of mine ever since.
